Preventive Maintenance service ensures that all wear and tear components are replaced as needed, axis performance is checked and corrected, and proper axis alignment is maintained for planar and spherical near-field systems. Our comprehensive maintenance package includes the replacement of wear parts, checking and correcting the level of the base/positioner, and performance verification services. Available annually or more frequently as needed, our Preventive Maintenance service keeps your equipment running smoothly and efficiently.

Planar Near-Field Preventive Maintenance
Preventive Maintenance for planar near-field systems are the ideal solution for ensuring your system is operating at its best. Our routine maintenance service, offered every 1-2 years or more frequently as needed, provides performance verification to ensure your system is within specifications and minimizes the risk of unexpected downtime. Our expert technicians replace wear and tear components, verify system alignment, positioner position repeatability, and correct Z-plane issues to less than 0.05 mm RMS.
Exclusions include positioner bore-sighting/calibration.
Spherical Near-Field Preventive Maintenance (Typical)
Our Spherical Near-Field Preventive Maintenance service offers regular routine maintenance to ensure that your system is operating within specifications and minimizes the risk of unexpected downtime. This service includes performance verification to replace wear and tear components such as driver belts, fans, and lubrication as needed.
Our team uses a laser tracker to verify positioner position repeatability, positioner orthogonality alignment to 0.05° and to verify intersection and orthogonality of phi, theta, and pol axes to 1.25. For equatorial spherical near-field systems, services also verify proper alignment of the AUT spit. The alignment results are used to adjust the system and optimize alignment. Calibration is not included.
Spherical Near-Field Fixed (SNF-FIX) Preventive Maintenance
Preventive Maintenance for your SNF-FIX system is a comprehensive service provided on a bi-annually service, or more frequently as needed. This performance verification service focuses on ensuring your system is operating within specifications and minimizing the risk of unexpected downtime. Our team replaces wear and tear components, verifies precision system alignment using a laser tracker* to ensure positioner position repeatability, positioner orthogonality alignment to 0.05° and verify intersection and orthogonality of phi, theta, and pol axes to 1.25. The alignment results are used to calibrate structural errors and to improve positioner accuracy to include phi error correction, theta error correction** and radial phase correction in k-space***.

We also verify precision system alignment using a laser tracker* to check positioner repeatability, spherical alignment to 0.05°, and verify the intersection and orthogonality of phi, theta, and pol axes to λ/20. Trust our alignment results to calibrate structural errors and improve positioner accuracy for top-notch performance.
