John Demas

Vice President, Near-Field Systems

John Demas is Vice President of Near-Field Systems. He is based in the Torrance, CA office and oversees the near-field antenna measurement business activities. Prior to this assignment, John was the Vice President of Operations for Nearfield Systems, Inc (NSI) located in Torrance, CA, and managed all manufacturing, development, engineering, and program related activities.

John earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a minor in economics in 1978 from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. He has been an AMTA member since 1982 and has published numerous technical papers and served on various committees. He served on the Board of Directors as Vice President in 2015. John also is a member of the IEEE.
