Multiplexers
Model: ELE-MUX
NSI-MI's Multiplexers simplify and reduce the cost of RF transmit and receive systems by economically converting a single receiver into a multi-channel measurement system. Operators can switch a single RF source through the multiplexer to one of several outputs or a single receiver can be used to connect to multiple antenna ports in sequence. The Multiplexers can be used on either the transmit or receiving side of the measurement system. A single pole, double throw (SPDT) multiplexer is commonly used to switch between the vertical and horizontal polarization ports of an antenna under test. The ports have coaxial connectors and are bi-directional with the open ports typically terminated into a 50 ohm load. Multiplexers are shipped fully assembled and tested along with an instruction manual. No special installation procedures or cooling arrangements are required. For best results, operation should be within a temperature-controlled environment.
- Economically converts a single receiver into a multi-channel measurement system
- Covers most common microwave and mmWave frequency bands
- Fast switching speeds: typical < 1 μs
- High port-to-port isolation
- Wideband operation
- Multiplex transmit or receive signals
