Emergency Stop

An emergency stop (e-stop) network adds additional safety measures to your positioning system by removing power from the motor drive circuit to disable motion. A network of emergency stop panic buttons can be prominently located throughout a facility. The e-stop panic buttons can be placed in a location which is visible and accessible to the system operator. In the event of an emergency, the operator may stop the system via one of the installed panic buttons.

The master emergency stop unit connects to up to four ELE-IPC Integrated Position Controller devices providing control with a single pushbutton switch. In addition, slave emergency stop switches can be connected to the master emergency stop switch.
