Description
Model: ELE-VFA-ADPNSI-MI’s VFA Adapter Panel provides a simple upgrade path to incorporate older multiplexers, provides an interface to tracking instrumentation and has 6 additional multi-configurable BNC connections for supporting third party instrumentation. Compatible with both NSI2000 and MI-3000 software, this Adapter Panel also allows for legacy BNC connections to support measurement timing products and signal sources.
For applications that use legacy range cabling, the VFA Adapter Panel is recommended. The VFA Adapter Panel provides an interface to legacy multiplexer range cables.

The Adapter Panel comes with three cables: two that connect to the Multiplexer P and Q interfaces, and one that connects to the Auxiliary TTL connector. The Auxiliary TTL grouping includes a Mapping section for six test point signals TP1 – TP6 that can be configured using pull-down menus. These signals are located on the Auxiliary TTL connector on the rear panel of the VFA. This connector also includes other trigger and timing I/O signals summarized in the above table. The VFA Adapter Panel can optionally be attached to the Auxiliary TTL connector to provide BNC connections to the test points and other trigger and timing signals.
